Dawna serves SSBC as the Director of Finance. She oversees the Financial Services Division and brings more than 15 years of financial management, operations, and general management experience to her position. Dawna is accustomed to working within high-growth companies where her responsibilities include financial management, accounting, investor relations, international operations, and acquisitions. Dawna earned her Bachelor of Commerce from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and is a Certified General Accountant (CPA, CGA).

• Dawna is the funniest accountant you will ever meet!
• She enjoys music of all types; she has performed in several musicals, played the fife in a marching band, and once had the opportunity to play clarinet at Juilliard in New York City as part of her high school band.
• Her greatest gift in life so far has been the opportunity to be a mom to her amazing 12 year old son Remy, who has inherited her sense of humour (and her math gene!).
