Salon Coach

I currently serve SSBC as a Salon Coach.

I grew up as a “salon kid”. My grandmother owned several salons and my parents have had their salon for over 26 years. I chose a different path and decided to go to college. I received a biology degree and started working in restaurants shortly after graduation. I eventually became a restaurant manager and learned many skills relevant to running a hair salon from inventory to budgets to customer relations. My mother eventually asked me to help with the business and I have been the general manager since 2020. I really love our transformative industry. When you can see the boost in confidence in guests after providing them with a quality service, it really changes people. They become their happiest, most confident self.

With the family business, we never really had systems in place and the business basically couldn't exist if the owners were not behind the chair. Summit changed all of that, by teaching us how to grow stylists to be their best while earning a great living doing something they love. Now we are on track to step away from the chair and focus on growing our team - that is real freedom.

My favorite thing about serving others through Summit is being able to change an owner’s outlook on their own business. I love being able to provide some insight and turn their challenges into strengths. Helping people see the light at the end of the tunnel and arriving at “I can do this” moments for clients is the greatest thing in the world.

Outside of work I am a big trivia fan. I’ve run two marathons and I love to play pool.
