Larry Cromwell

Salon Coach

My journey into the world of beauty started unexpectedly. I began my career as a Sheriff's Detective and Federal Task Force Officer with the DEA, focused on maintaining law and order. But life had different plans for me and my wife.

In 2006, my wife and I embarked on a new adventure, one that would change the course of our lives forever. We opened our first salon, stepping into a realm of creativity and self-expression entirely different from law enforcement.

Fast forward to 2010, and after years of balancing the responsibilities of being a Sheriff's Detective and a salon owner, I decided to retire from law enforcement. It was a tough decision, but I felt a calling towards the salon industry. In 2011, we opened our second salon, and it became abundantly clear that the salon world needed more structure.

Our turning point came when we attended our first Summit and implemented the Summit Salon Systems. The results were nothing short of amazing. These systems transformed our business and propelled us to open a third salon. We now proudly own and operate four successful and profitable salons, thanks to the principles we learned from Summit.

The beauty of the Summit's systems and teachings left an indelible mark on me. I wanted to pay it forward and help other salon owners achieve the same structure, profitability, and stability we had experienced. That's why I'm thrilled to be a Summit Salon Consultant today.

In addition to my role as a consultant, I've been actively involved in the beauty industry in other capacities. I served on the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology Health and Safety Advisory Committee, contributing to the well-being of professionals and clients in our field. I was also a part of The Professional Beauty Federation of California Advisory Committee, where I collaborated with industry experts to shape the future of our profession.
