Salon Coach | Spa Coach

I am passionate about the world of spa and salon management. I've had the privilege of serving as a Spa Consultant at SSBC for several years. My journey in this industry began in 2007 when I co-founded Bella Trio Salon and Spa and Bella Trio Studio, nestled in the heart of Durham, North Carolina. Since then, I've worn multiple hats as the General Manager and Co-Owner.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with an incredible team of over 50 professionals, spanning both the salon and spa domains and our dedicated support staff. Our company's remarkable transformation began in 2012 when we partnered with Summit Systems, and it truly soared after we enlisted the expertise of our team of coaches in 2016. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a significant growth trajectory for Bella Trio, as we saw our revenue rise from $2 million to an impressive $3.3 million in just six years. Our one-on-one staff coaching initiatives have empowered many team members to achieve the coveted six-figure income milestone.

My educational background includes a double degree in Business and Communications, which I earned as a proud alumna of Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. Although my early career found me in the banking industry, I still needed to solidify my creative inclinations and my background in dance and theater. Fate intervened when I joined Bella Trio initially as a front desk member and wedding coordinator/makeup artist. It was a revelation – I had found my true calling. Swiftly, I transitioned into the role of General Manager, leading our incredible team towards success.

Cultivating a positive company culture has always been paramount in my approach to management. A harmonious workplace is the bedrock of financial prosperity for any organization. My calm demeanor and unwavering commitment to helping individuals reach their full potential have been instrumental in evolving Bella Trio from a mere salon and spa into a full-fledged company.

One of my greatest joys is mentoring and coaching my staff, guiding them toward achieving their professional and financial goals. This passion extends to my role as a Spa Consultant with SSBC. I'm thrilled to share my insights, especially in prescriptive spa experiences. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to assist you in your journey with Summit, enriching the lives of spa providers and owners.

On a personal note, I've had some unique experiences outside of the salon and spa world. In high school, I was part of a play that won an award for Best Ensemble in a national competition – a cherished memory. And, on a more mischievous note, I used to occasionally pretend to be unwell just so I could spend the day at my mom's salon, where she worked. My most significant source of inspiration is my son, a 30-week preemie, who has defied all odds with his remarkable health and rather stubborn personality. His fighting spirit is a constant reminder that resilience and determination can overcome any challenge life throws us.
