I’m so grateful for the unique, human connections that happen in this space—ones that boost confidence, transform self-perception, and foster real well-being.

Summit and its systems have been truly life-changing for me, for our entire team, and for the guests we serve. It’s given us the structure to support stylists in building meaningful, sustainable careers—and in doing so, changed what’s possible. With a clear, consistent education system in place, our team has grown into the best version of themselves, personally and professionally. It’s transformed our culture, our confidence, and how we lead.

I’ve been in the salon industry for 19 years, starting behind the chair and eventually becoming a mentor stylist. I’ve worked in cosmetology education as an educator, curriculum developer, and Director of Education, building structured programs designed for long-term success. For the past seven years, I’ve also owned a salon—an experience that’s deepened my love for leadership, team building, and creating healthy, high-performing cultures.

Something people often find interesting is that I grew up on a poultry farm, working alongside my family from a young age. It taught me responsibility, grit, and the value of hard work—qualities I still carry with me in everything I do.
