Beonca Torres is the Placement Advisory and Director of Digital Education at Summit Salon Academy Tampa, where she leverages her extensive experience and passion for the beauty industry to guide and mentor the next generation of stylists.

Beonca’s journey began in 2011 when she attended cosmetology school at Summit Salon Academy Tampa. It was there that she was first introduced to the Summit systems, which played a crucial role in shaping her career. Committed to finding a profession that was both fulfilling and financially viable, Beonca embraced the Summit systems' approach to income management and financial literacy.

Through dedication and hard work, Beonca rose to become a successful Level 4 stylist and mentor at Shear Art Salon and Spa. Her expertise and experience have made her an invaluable asset in her current roles, where she focuses on advising students on placement opportunities and directing digital education initiatives.

In her capacity as a mentor and educator, Beonca is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others achieve their professional goals. She believes in the transformative power of education and strives to provide her students with the tools and insights they need to thrive in the competitive beauty industry.

Outside of her professional life, Beonca enjoys going to the beach and spending quality time with her family. She also has a deep passion for music, having played the trumpet for 10 years and had the honor of performing at Radio City Music Hall. She truly enjoys the sound of instruments and finds joy in musical expression.
