The skincare industry has always felt like the perfect intersection of science, self-care, and creativity. It’s a space filled with innovation and heart—where we get to help people feel more confident in their skin, while also geeking out on the artistry of products and routines. There’s something really meaningful about being part of an industry where compassion and knowledge go hand in hand.
After 18 years teaching in salons, spas, and beauty schools, I’ve seen just how much of a difference Summit systems make. The growth I’ve witnessed in estheticians who go through Summit training is truly inspiring—their skill, confidence, and professionalism consistently stand out. They’re not only thriving in their craft, they’re elevating the entire industry.
One of my favorite parts of this work is watching professionals flourish—not just in their careers, but as people. Seeing them light up with new knowledge, grow into leadership, and carry themselves with pride in what they do—that never gets old. The combination of passion and purpose is powerful.
My journey started after one transformative facial—I left the corporate world, became a Licensed Esthetician in Kansas, Missouri, and also earned my cosmetology license. I've spent years fascinated by skincare technology and advanced modalities, from LED light therapy to ultrasound and microdermabrasion. I’ve trained hundreds of estheticians, collaborated with salon owners on business strategies, and seen firsthand what’s possible when passion meets the right support.
Outside of work, my six grandchildren are my greatest joy—especially when we gather for tea parties. I also love genealogy and diving into my family history. Earlier in life, I trained as a draftsman, which eventually led me into the world of CAD and graphic arts. But no matter the path, I always come back to one thing: the happiness that comes from giving to others.
