What I love most about this industry is how it blends artistry, fashion, human connection, and transformation—all in one space. There's nothing quite like watching a change come to life in just a short time. We get to have fun, connect through real conversations, and enjoy great music while we work. That’s pretty special.
Summit’s systems helped me build the foundation I needed when I transitioned my business model from independent contractors to employees. It gave me the structure and support to not only shift the numbers—but create a culture where people could truly thrive. I trusted the process, and it changed everything.
As a certified health and life coach, it lights me up to help others find balance and ease in their careers and personal lives. I love seeing professionals reduce stress and overwhelm—because when we do that, we tap into more creativity, productivity, and joy, both in our work and in our lives. That’s when the magic happens.
I’ve been in the salon industry for over 20 years, including six and a half as a salon owner. I know how fulfilling—and how exhausting—this career can be. I’ve lived the long days, the burnout, the deep joy of transforming someone’s day with a haircut. I started out in communication with a degree in public relations from SDSU, but my heart never left this industry. After college, I got my cosmetology license, and I haven’t looked back.
Outside of Summit, I stay active with my husband, our two teenagers, and our dog, Fozzie. I love to travel, enjoy great food, and never miss a chance to catch live music. For me, those simple joys are just as important as self-care—and just as energizing.
