I am passionate about this industry because I love making people feel great about themselves. I'm able to do that every day in some way—by creating a new look for a salon guest, mentoring a stylist in my salon company, or coaching fellow salon owners towards their happiest life.

I love to see the little wins! They are just as important as the big milestones. When a stylist reaches out to me to share that they are seeing their paychecks grow each week or a salon owner tells me that they finally had the time to enroll in a yoga class they've been wanting to take. Those moments of celebrating the little wins give me purpose!

I started doing hair in 2007 and opened my salon company in 2018. The way SSBC changed my life is why I am passionate about paying it forward and doing for other salon owners what my coach did for me. I opened my salon with a lot of good intentions...and not much else. I was overworked, underpaid, and lying awake at night worrying about problems that I never expected to face. Summit brought me freedom; freedom to do what I love in an environment that I love while also being present in my life outside of the salon.

I love reading and trying new restaurants! I also have 3 kids and am currently working toward a goal of getting them to all lower 48 states before the oldest graduates high school.
